Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, this evening delivered remarks at the Gala Dinner of the 13th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Disaster Management (AMMDM) and the 14th Meeting of the Conference of Parties (COP) to the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER), held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. SG Dr. Kao also witnessed the inaugural ASEAN Award for Disaster Resilience, presented to the members of the AMMDM for their exemplary leadership and valuable contributions in advancing disaster resilience and promoting the spirit of One ASEAN, One Response. SG Dr. Kao also presented a Token of Appreciation to H.E. Kitte Sangahak Bandith Kun Kim, Senior Minister in Charge of Special Missions, First Vice President of the National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM) of the Kingdom of Cambodia for his leadership as the Chair of ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Disaster Management (AMMDM) 2025.
